Daily or Weekly Reads

I have a list of bloggers that I read or check on either daily or weekly.. ..well some once a month.. they prove to have had in the past interesting takes on Life and happenings.

Two of the blogs are of a couple that live in France, each partner writes a blog.

As I was reading one of their blogs today..... I noticed in the bathroom, they had a photograph of a new fixture in the bathroom, that they roll the bath towels.....

Do all gay men roll their bath towels.... I picked up the practice while I was in Baton Rouge, from an old friend who had a very large hot tub in his bathroom .. he would stack rolled towels for his guests.

Fall is here...for a day or so.......

I've had a fire in the fireplace for the last couple of days... especially this afternoon... makes for a reflective time....

Been a Lil' While

Its been a lil while since I posted something to the blog.

To recapture a lil of what has gone on.........

Friends sometimes come and go.... never really leave... but thier friendship wains and the bonds are stretched ... its beginning to happen with me, Bradly seems to be distant in the past several weeks, I believe he has some what of a problem with my status... He has always been fairly sexually active, to have one of his besties, become positive hits home.... he is not too sure how to handle it.

Bob and John, they are the couple that moved from Houston to Alexandria, for busines reasons, thier company was engaged to handle a very large business here, they wanted to be hands on.  When you look at their comings and goings, you will find that Houston has always been home base, but they seem to have moved out every five to six years.  They would rent out their condo at Meacon Circle, then buy a place in State of Washington, Sedona, etc..

They have been here for 3 years now, thier company is on solid ground now, in this locale, so they might be thinking of  going some where, just from conversations I have had with them.. the tone of the chats.

My health received a lil set back here, my viral load was almost at non detectable, 40, last lab work indicated it had risen to 601.  Up until last week I had been trying to take my meds at 10am, however sometimes, it would be late afternoon or that evening, before I thought about it....

So, I am now taking them with my morning blood pressure pill..... I hope the change in routine will prove beneficial fast.

I have an approaching birthday here in December.  I am turning 64, I dislike even writing about that.  

Fall is upon us here in the Deep Deep South, today brings rain and a cold front moving in... I am thinking its time to build a fire in the fire place and cozy up with a good supper on Saturday night... cause that is the only thing to cozy up with..........

That's the recapture of the last three weeks or so.... ...

Sunday in the Lil City by the Red

There is a guy in the neighborhood, young gay guy with a partner, who is beginning a new sideline business, vehicle detailing.... he works at a local bank during the work week.


He detailed the Ford 4X4 Supercab truck today....... it was a bargin at $65.....  he did the Limited Edition GT Mustang....the 485HP Verison ... two weeks ago.... for the same price... he has my business for sure..


After he returned the 4X4 today, it looked and  felt so good, I took it for a drive in the country... The Lil City by the Red is surrounded by the Kisatchie National Forest... its is divided with paved and gravel roads throughout the Forest.

Along the road ways of Kisatchie,  the Black Eyed Susan Flowers are in full bloom......
