Its been a lil stressful here lately.

M is trying to buy a house to move into. I am supportng him on his decision. He is not happy living in the city. He is just a country boy at heart.

I want him to be happy.

Also, I am trying to take the next step forward with some of my own decisions about how long I will continue to work at the department. On Oct 2006, it will be 28 yrs. That tells you that I am tired, wo out, feed up, and stressed.

Its early Saturday morning. I went to bed early also, like nine pm. So, I am up now at 430 am on a Saturday morning.

Today is cutting grass, going to the gym to do cardio only, reading the manual once again on the roadster.

I sit on the board of trustees for a homeless women's shelter here in town. We are having our annual fund raiser on Sunday. Which is a lobster boil. Most of the board is made up of women, there are three men on it, including me. Sometimes the dynamics are a little strange.

M is progressing in buying his house.

On Wednesday I am heading to the Captiol to meet with the retirement system, to get the necessary info on what options I have.

See when I can take the plunge.


The roadster is a greatmachine. So, now I am committed to that long road trip.

First to San Antonio, then to West Vga.

Along the way I will see some folks. Making stops in Houston, Memphis, Columbus Ohio, and Va. Could be stopping in Athens GA also.

All it all, it will be business sometimes, free time the others, at least I get paid for the whole trip.

I leave on Sept 14 and return either on Sept 29th or 30th.

I have schedule for my grass to be cut, paper to be picked up etc.

I will take plenty of pictures and try to document the journey.

I didnt buy the Nissan Z.

I did buy the Z4 roadster by BMW.

Am I crazy.

Who knows.

I take delivery of it tomorrow.

I will be driving to WV for sure now.

Oh, btw, at nine pm tonight it was still in the 90's here. Almost 100% humidity.

You sweat just standing up or sweat sitting on the swing on the porch.

I dont think I will be flying too much anymore. In the last several trips this year to preform some work, either my suitcase or bags have been lost, flights delayed to all hours of the night.

So, I have decided not to do the extra work if it is more than two driving days from the River here. I figure I can cover about 440 to 540 miles a day in a car.

I went to look at a 'touring' car yesterday. Say its midde age crazy...but the Z car from Nissan http://www.nissanusa.com/z/ is what I am looking at.

I might be driving to WV here soon.

It was a nice post that M did. We are going thru some strange times right now. Working out some things.

Its really hard on me to write these days. I am confused one minute, thrown to the side of love the next and really dont know what to do.

Time will tell, as it has over these past years.
